JA Frate received the 2019 Carrier of the Year award from Uline on May 14, 2020 for outstanding performance and dedication to Uline and their customers. This award recognizes the overall top transportation carrier for all Uline branches across the U.S.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has enacted an exemption for hauling food, paper products, fuel, plastic, and other raw material used in medical supplies or other equipment necessary for community safety. Our online Web Tools system has been renamed My JA Portal to better reflect its centralized shipment quoting, scheduling and tracking capabilities. The system is fully online and allows users to access their shipments, tracking information, invoices and more 24/7/365.

Our headquarters in McHenry, Ill., received a new 46,000 sq ft expansion that officially opened in March 2019, bringing the building to 96,000 total sq ft.

As of February 1, 2019, JA has strategically aligned with BDG International to provide international transportation solutions that emphasize our commitment to providing the highest level of service, quality and expertise.

We received the Illinois State Employer of the Year Award and the National Certificate of Appreciation for medium-sized companies from the American Legion at 1:00 p.m. on Sept. 7, 2018, at our office at 1202 S. Rte 31, McHenry, Ill.
